I have always enjoyed sketching and illustrating buildings, so at the start of lockdown and being furloughed from both my jobs, I decided to focus on keeping myself busy. I drew elevations of three Glasgow buildings as a gift for my mum's birthday; Hillhead Library, the Kibble Palace in the Botanic Gardens, and her old flat: No. 50 Victoria Crescent Road. These landmarks mean a lot to her and she loved it. I posted it on social media and asked if anyone would be interested in custom illustrations, and the response was so positive that I decided to start up an Etsy shop and a business instagram account.

 

I offer custom architectural illustrations of personal landmarks / buildings, which make great gifts. I've illustrated people's homes, flats and places of work, from a Georgian townhouse in Edinburgh to a Buddhist Temple in Japan. I really enjoy the variety and knowing how much a building means to someone.
